The terms for using this website. BARINV.ca is an informational marketing site about the BARINV product ecosystem — including features still in development, marked with honest status labels.
This is a plain-language summary of the terms for using this website. It is provided for transparency and is not legal advice. Use of any BARINV operational software is governed by separate agreements, not by these website terms.
1. Acceptance
By accessing or using the BARINV.ca website (the “Site”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
2. About this website
The Site is a public marketing and informational website describing BARINV and the BARINV PRO product ecosystem. It exists to explain what we are building and to let interested venues contact us. The Site is not itself an operational application, and using it does not create any service, subscription, or account. Any actual BARINV software product is provided separately and is governed by its own terms.
3. Roadmap and forward-looking content
The Site describes both features that are available today and features that are planned, in development, or on our roadmap. We label module status on the Site (for example, “Live,” “In development,” or “Roadmap”) to be transparent. Roadmap and in-development descriptions reflect current intentions, not promises — plans, timelines, and capabilities can change, and nothing on the Site is a guarantee that a particular feature will be released or will work in a specific way.
4. No warranty
The Site and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. While we aim to keep information accurate and current, we do not warrant that the content is complete, error-free, or continuously available.
5. Intellectual property
The BARINV and BARINV PRO names, logos, content, text, graphics, and design on the Site are owned by BARINV or used with permission, and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may view and share links to the Site, but you may not copy, reproduce, republish, or use our branding or content for commercial purposes without our prior written permission.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Site — including attempting to disrupt or compromise it, accessing it through automated means in a way that burdens our systems, or using it for unlawful purposes. The contact channels on the Site are for genuine inquiries about BARINV.
7. Third-party links and services
The Site may reference or link to third-party websites and services we do not control (and uses Google Fonts to render type). We are not responsible for the content, availability, or practices of those third parties. Links do not imply endorsement.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BARINV is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site or its content. Your use of the Site is at your own discretion and risk.
9. Privacy
Our handling of information through the Site is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the applicable laws of Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes relating to the Site will be handled in the courts located in British Columbia, Canada.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms as the Site evolves. If we add features such as a server-backed contact form, demo bookings, accounts, or payments, we will update these Terms and the Privacy Policy accordingly. The “Last updated” date above reflects the current version, and continued use of the Site means you accept the current Terms.
